Female Focus


Costa Blanca Male Voice Choir: Following their very successful 10th Anniversary concert to a packed Benitachell church, the choir are appearing at a festival in the Casa de Cultura, Alfaz de Pi on 26th May and then their own ‘Concert at the Caves’ in Benidoleig on 30th June. Now in its tenth year, the Stage Diary is not only an important guide to what’s on in all regions, but is also an on-line web introduction to potential expats researching community life in Spain. The diary also acts as a planning guide to assist groups avoid unnecessary clashes of production dates.


Cantabile Ladies Choir: The Choir is continuing to make good progress in preparation for their summer concerts of sacred and secular music. The first is at La Siesta Church Torrevieja on Saturday 3rd June

Caprice: After two successful performances in March, the all ladies choir are now working towards their next concert at Calpe Tennis Club on Friday 2nd June at 6.30pm in support of FOC Emaùs. The concert includes music by Gershwin, Carpenters and songs from the shows. Tickets are 17€ and include a three course meal after the concert. Careline Theatre: May production, ‘Allo 'Allo’ directed by Candida Wright. Based on the TV comedy, it includes, of course, ‘The Fallen Madonna with the Big Boobies’. Dates, 18th to 20th May, 8pm at the Careline Theatre, Alcalali. Tickets 12€ with a discount for

New Cardinal Theatre Group: ‘Let Us Entertain You’ will be staged at the Cardenal Belluga Theatre in San Fulgencio on 18th,19th and 20th October.
