As I write this it is raining. It's not really a complaint as I am stuck in the office, but not happy either as it will put the start of the swimming season back a bit.
Putting it in perspective my parents have had sleet and some snow at theirs in the UK and
could never swim in an outdoor pool, so it could be much worse!
At least it was nice weather for the visitors over the Easter holidays. We had visitors, as I suppose many of you did, and although we had no time off as such, must have done something right as they are already booked to come back out in June. Although, it could be the fact that they have had horrid weather since they got back, didn't see us much, and know we are thinking of getting a couple of days away in June that has made them book again rather than my skills as a hostess......
It is all 'fun and games' in the UK at the moment with the looming election - I had to look up the word 'mugwump' as didn't believe it was a real word and thought it was something out of Harry Potter. Sometimes it feels like I am turning on a fiction film or soap opera rather than the news!
