Magic Custard Pie

I don’t know where this pie originated, but my family has loved it all my life. The best thing about this pie is it is incredibly easy and the Bisquick forms its own crust while it bakes which is where the “magic” takes place. Like any old-school recipe, there are many variations but this is our family recipe.

1 cup soft unsalted butter ⁄2

2 cups milk 1 cup sugar 1 teaspoon vanilla

2 eggs 1

1 cup shredded coconut (or pecans) Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

⁄2 ⁄2

Spray a pan with cooking spray or butter it liberally.
