Bookgroup -We are a small friendly book group that meet every four weeks in the Library, we will meet at 2pm on the 5th May and 2nd and 30th June, all welcome.


Off the Page- Book Festival 4th-15th May Wednesday 10th May- Markus Stitz in partnership with Stirling Cycle Hub 7.30pm-9.00pm £5.00/£3.00 In August 2016 Markus Stitz became the first person to circumnavigate the world on a single speed bike. In less than a year he cycled 21,500 miles through 26 countries. With pictures and videos he will bring the journey alive. Stirling Cycle Hub are offering a free led ride to the venue and back from Stirling train station. This will follow the National Cycle Network with Markus Stitz joining on the return journey. Thursday 11th MaQWy- Wonderful World of Bears 10.30am-11.15am Free Pre-school with accompanying adult. Come along and celebrate the world of bears with stories, crafts, treats and more. Bring your own favourite teddy bear! Thursday 11th May-Ross Collins 4.00pm-5.00pm £2.00 3+ years. Ross is the author of There’s a Bear on My Chair and Robot Rumpus as well as over a dozen other books, he has illustrated over 100 books.


Jeremy Wyatt exhibition in The View, Dunblane Library- Friday 26th May 6-8pm (wine & nibbles) This will also be a chance to pick up the Open Studios Brochure & ‘Dunblane Art Trail passport’ with a chance to win a piece of art of your choice by visiting all local studios & getting your passport stamped at each venue to validate your entry into the prize draw.
