Message from Gemma, Centre Manager


Hi everyone


Spring is fi nally here and as I’m writing this, the Sun is shining (for how long we don’t know!) I hope you had a great Easter break and we are now on the home straight to the summer. I can’t believe how fast this year has gone.


Our Summer programme is almost fi nished, keep an eye on facebook and at the Centre for copies or pick up a copy in the next Wire. Before that, we’ve got lots for you to get involved with.


A huge welcome to our new Youth Worker, Leigh Austin, already familiar to most of you. Leigh started in March and has some exciting programmes up his sleeve.


Owen Jones has taken over as Shift Manager. Owen started as a Centre Assistant and has done a great job. As well as this we have some new Centre Assistants, make sure and pop in to say hello.


Coming up :


Spring Fair Sunday 14th May - 11am – 4pm


A new event to our calendar, our Spring Fair. We’ll have lots of fantastic stalls selling unique gifts. For the wee ones we’ll have the soft play out and some arts and crafts activities in the art room. Our café will be serving lots of delicious home baking and coff ee to keep you going. Entry to the event is free so make sure and pop along.
