SATURDAY 27th MAY

FLING BY THE RIVER SAT 27 MAY | DRYING GREEN DUNBLANE

Come and join us on the Drying Green to celebrate this year’s Fling by the River. An action packed day of fun, music and dancing to keep all the family entertained!

This year we have a number of challenges on the green.... try your hand at rugby or football, master the bucking bronco, or be king of the bungee run! If classic cars, a fi re engine, Master Jack and a bouncy castle are not enough, enter your team for the tug of war competition, a spectacle not to be missed, or come and be inspired by those tackling huge challenges like Team Noble, as they prepare for The Talisker Atlantic Challenge and Elaine Hopley who has just completed it!!

We have two marquees which host diff erent acts throughout the afternoon, stalls with crafts and local information, and not forgetting the Rotary’s famous Duck Race... come and watch the spectacle of over 4000 yellow ducks bobbing down the river. Your’s could even win!

The day kicks off at the Railway Plaza at 12 noon with a parade, led by the Doune Pipe Band. Follow them down to the Green and come and enjoy the fun!

12 NOON-5PM (ENTRY BY DONATION)

With more getting involved all the time, keep checking Facebook or our website, it’s the best way to stay up to date with what’s on!

We look forward to seeing you!
