Our fantastic team of Resource Chairs have put together a stellar conference that will appeal to choral directors of all levels and genres and will feature such choral music rock stars as Jim Henry, Timothy Seelig, Andrea Ramsey, Victor Johnson, Rosanna Eckert, Daniel Bara, Ben Ecklund, and the new director of the Luther College Nordic Choir, Andrew Last.


As tradition continues, our honor choirs will serve singers of ages 8 to 88 in the 4,5,6 Honor Choir, 7-8 Honor Choir, 9-10 Honor Choir, All-State Jazz, All- State Show Choir, and the Church and Community Honor Choir. Visit the MCDA web page for audition information and deadlines.


We welcome new faces to our advisory board this Spring with Mike Pierson taking over as Webmaster from Tom Lowery who, with Past- president Brian Reeves, worked tirelessly to build the website a few years back. Jake Mauk will be working with Nicholas Urvan on the next edition of “The Reporter” before taking the reigns as editor of our membership publication.
