QF Focus Magazine Almoradi Scrabble Club


It was all change for our February Scrabble meeting. Maria opened her doors of her new premises in order for us to enjoy an afternoon of word play.


We welcomed two new players, had a fun afternoon and managed to christen our new boards.


Karen achieved over 400 points and


scored the highest during the afternoon. Vicky, one of our new members won the bottle of wine for Playing the highest point score for words associated with "our new surroundings". We meet on the last Tuesday of the month at Cafe Almoradi, now situated at Calle Mayor 91. We start at 3.30pm prompt and play two games. The first game is against a random partner, and for the second game we try to match you against a person of similar ability. So why not come for an afternoon of fun with like minded people. TCF Spring Craft Fair


Torrevieja Christian Fellowship (TCF) is holding its annual Spring Craft Fair at TCF Avenida de las Cortes Valencianas, 68, Torrevieja 03183 on Saturday 1st April between 1pm and 3.30pm.


Beautiful hand crafted items including cards, jewellery, knitted items, cushions etc are available, as well as home baked cakes and scones, bric a brac and nearly new clothing. Free admission and there are refreshments on sale. Bring your family and friends. Doors open at 1pm prompt.
