Christian has played at Spanish festivals and has accompanied Mercedes Cano, a well known and popular Spanish Flamenco Singer, as well as working with other well known artistes.
It was 6 months ago that Christian and Carla decided to take their musical career in another direction and formed The TwiLights Duo.
They both have a vast repertoire built up over the years, and their music covers many genres from across the decades.
Hi All !
This month I would like to feature The TwiLights, a husband and wife duo.
Christian and Carla Haupt are
professional musicians who left their native Germany 8 years ago and are now firmly established here, living on the Southern Costa Blanca.
Both Christian and Carla studied music, particularly the guitar, whilst still
in
their childhood, gaining much practical experience as they entered adolescence.
Christian toured with many established German artistes and bands, while Carla leaned more towards performing vocals, and sang with various choirs in her homeland.
It was in 2009 that this affable couple decided to resettle in Spain.
Within a very short time of their arrival here they were playing and singing in both English and Spanish bands.

They have an extensive catalogue of songs that they perform catering for English, Spanish and German audiences, covering numbers that are well known in all these countries, songs from the 1970s to present day.
The TwiLights are very versatile and hard working performers.
Christian is a superb guitar player in his own right, and has, and continues to perform solo at the Zenia Boulevard a couple of times a month, playing great guitar
instrumental classics from the
Shadows, The Ventures and other guitar led groups.
