training The Waverley Academy has developed the country’s first online teacher training programme for the hair, beauty and fitness sectors.
The programme will enable students to gain a teaching award by distance learning from anywhere in the country.
“We have developed this to meet the demands of the industry,” explains Education Manager, Derek O Kelly. “Many people want to do our teacher training courses but not everyone is in a position to travel. Students will now be able to work towards a professional teaching award at their own pace and time.”
