Day 1 Munich After breakfast visit the city of Munich and its most important mo- numents like the Cathedral of the Virgin, whose Italian domes can be seen from many miles away; and the Marienplatz, the geographic and social heart of Munich. During this tour you also experience im- portant landmarks of Nazi influence before WWII, including a tour of the Putsch at Feldherrnhalle, and the sites of the former Nazi Headquar- ters and the Königsplatz where the Nazi Party‘s mass rallies were held.

Day 2 Munich - Berchtes- gaden - Munich In the morning you travel to Berchtesgaden and explore this beautiful, traditional bavarian vil- lage. Then you visit the “Eagle‘s Nest“, which was built as a present for Hitler‘s 50th birthday. The regi- on of Berchtesgaden later served as an important strategic objective for the Allied forces in World War II. Return to Munich.
