Day 1 Vienna Arrival in Vienna and pick up your rental car at the airport.
Day 2 Vienna 2-hour walking city tour (optional). Nestled on the banks of the Danu- be, Vienna dazzles with its magni- ficent architecture and rich history. The city is famous for its operas, beautiful Baroque architecture and music, the Prater, lovely parks.
Day 3 Vienna - Graz (199 km) Drive to Graz and explore the city with a 2-hour walking city tour (op- tional). Discover the capital of Sty- ria, a lively and innovative city with tradition and a thriving culture. Graz is also named as a UNESCO City of Design.
Day 4 Graz - Lake District - Salzburg (368 km) Continue to the Lake District and ascend Mount Zwölferhorn by ca- ble car to enjoy wonderful views over the Lake Wolfgang (not inclu- ded). Drive to the city of Salzburg, where the genius composer Wolf- gang Amadeus Mozart was born.

in Austria. The city offers the per- fect combination of a picturesque mountain setting and a beautifully preserved old town. The histo- ric centre is dominated by many church spires, medieval fortresses and the magnificent Hohensalzburg Fortress. The spirit of Mozart still permeates the city.
Day 6 Salzburg - Linz (132 km)
Continue to Linz, a picturesque town on the banks of the Danu- be river. 2-hour walking city tour in Linz (optional). Experience the city’s economic and cultural histo- ry, amaze at the highlights of the European Capital of Culture 2009.
Day 7 Linz - Dürnstein - Melk - Vienna (245 km) After breakfast continue to the village of Dürnstein, nestled in the heart of the magnificent Wach- au Valley. The charming town of Dürnstein offers the unique com- bination of a breathtaking scenery and traditional architecture. It was in the Kuenringer Castle, whose ruins still overlook Dürnstein, that the English King Richard Lionheart was held prisoner. Drive to Melk for a short visit to the famous Ab- bey. Next you drive to Vienna to return your rental car at the Vienna airport.
