Day 1 Berlin Arrival in Berlin. Discover the German Capital that seduces its visitors due to its rich cultural life. Berlin is home to three very famous international opera houses, depen- ding on your travel date you are able to attend a performance today.
Day 2 Berlin - Leipzig After breakfast travel to Leipzig. Visit the birthplace of Richard Wagner, the statue of J.S. Bach and the St. Thomas church, where Bach worked as a music director and where Wagner was baptized. At night you attend a concert at the famous concert hall Gewandhaus or at the St. Thomas Church, home to the world-renowned St. Thomas Boys Choir, a choir rich in tradition and committed to continue Bach´s musical legacy.
Day 3 Leipzig - Dresden The tour continues today with a visit to the Bach Museum in Leip- zig. The museum presents the life and works of Johann Sebastian Bach and his family in an interac- tive multimedia exhibition. One of the highlights is the treasure room, where original Bach manuscripts and other precious items are on display. Afterwards travel to Dres- den. It is highly recommended to visit the Dresden Frauenkirche, an outstanding example of Protestant sacred architecture featuring one of the largest domes in Europe, and
symbol of reconciliation between former waring enemies. It is also home to many world-renowned classical concerts.
Day 4 Dresden Both Richard Wagner and J.S. Bach left their marks in Dresden. During a guided tour you see Dres- den through musical eyes, lear- ning more about the life of these great Germans composers. The afternoon´s focus lies on the re- nowned Semper Opera House. Du- ring a guided tour you learn more about the past and present of this impressing opera house, where ac- cording to your travel date you can also attend to an evening opera performance.
Day 5 Dresden - Bayreuth After breakfast you travel to Bayreuth. This city is closely re- lated to Richard Wagner. Visit of the “Bayreuther Festspielhaus”, the specially designed theater that is world-famous for its annual Bayreuth Festival, at which per- formances of Wagner operas are presented.
Day 6 Bayreuth - Weimar - Eisenach On your way to Eisenach you stop in Weimar, where Bach used to work as a court musician. Upon arrival in Eisenach, you visit the Wartburg Castle, famous for the Tale of the Wartburg Song Contest on which

the “Tannhäuser” opera by Richard Wagner is based.
Day 7 Eisenach - Halle - Berlin In the morning you visit the Bach- haus, a museum dedicated to the life of J.S. Bach who was born in Eisenach, and other important places in the life of Bach. After- wards return to Berlin. If there is some time left before your flight, you might stop at Halle, the city of the baroque composer Georg Fried- rich Händel.
