Day 1 Frankfurt - Romantic Rhine - Cologne Travel to Rüdesheim and visit the city. Embark on a boat for a tour along the most beautiful and fa-
mous stretch of the Rhine: the Lorelei valley, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Then continue to Co- logne for a sightseeing tour of the city and a visit to the most famous cathedral in Germany.
Day 2 Cologne - Essen - Münster Cologne is the gateway to the Ruhr River basin, also known as the cr- adle of industrialization in Germa- ny. More than 300 coal mines and large steel factories created an enormous industrial region that is now gradually being converted into a cultural area.
Day 3 Münster - Bremen - Hamburg After breakfast enjoy a sightsee- ing tour of Münster, famous for its beautiful historic center where antique buildings coexist harmoni-
ously with modern development. Continue to Bremen. Set on the banks of the Weser River, Bremen is known around the world as the city of the Bremen Town Musicians from the Brothers Grimm fairytale. The statue of the musicians next to the beautiful city hall and the sta- tue of Roland have been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2004. In the afternoon we travel to Hamburg.
Day 4 Hamburg Free day at your leisure to explore Hamburg. Although 100 km from the ocean, Hamburg owes its fame to its world renowned port. Ham- burg has more bridges than Venice and features many lovely attrac- tions, such as the Michel Church (the city’s symbol) and the Jung- fernstieg and City Hall.

Day 5 Hamburg - Lübeck - Schwerin Travel from Hamburg to Lübeck. This city with its lovely old houses was once one of the most im- portant centers of the Hanseatic League and was declared a UN- ESCO world heritage site in 1987. Continue to Schwerin, famous for its castle that stands on an island in the center of town.
Day 6 Schwerin - Berlin Visit the Schwerin Castle and then continue to Berlin, the capital of Germany. A divided city during the Cold War, Berlin is now one of the most important cultural centers in Europe and boasts exquisite mu- seums, such as the Pergamon, and fascinating architecture, such as Potsdam Square.
