competitions. In January, they’ll kick off the year at the Whole Hog Extravaganza competition in Illinois, and then Sonny’s Smokin’ Showdown in Florida.


Linn would like to eventually sell the spices in Harps Food Stores because it is employee-owned and he believes it would be a good fit for the company, but he’s not ready to supply that market yet.


“We are trying to take care of our wholesale. We are going through growing pains. We have been growing since we bought the business,” Linn said.


But growth is the long-term goal.


“Meeting new friends. Adding new customers. It’s family owned and we are going to be there trying to grow the family into the business and branch out more and more all time,” Linn said.
