Dining & Getaways

cabins, three are two-bedrooms and the remaining eight are studios. Since Richard and I purchased the resort, we have been expanding and improving the restaurant, adding a new dining room and beautiful outdoor courtyard complete with the original fireplace from the restaurant.”

At the restaurant, the walleye and steaks are the best sellers, but Richard’s daily specials are fantastic, too, she said. There’s a burger of the month — past choices have included a reindeer burger.

Another aspect that makes this restaurant stand out is the rotating homemade sides and desserts.

“Sides are all homemade from scratch and there will be 10-12 sides that are different every single day, and we do the same with desserts. We list those on the board. Those are unique features that we have that other restaurants
