“Red is the predominant color. It’s only built for two, so there is no temptation to bring along a child. There’s a screened-in back porch with hot tub and outdoor Chiminea fireplace. It’s very private. We have some nice monogrammed robes. We put out fine chocolates. We have a welcome board and if it’s someone’s anniversary, I write ‘Happy Anniversary, John and Jill.’ If it’s Valentine’s, I write ‘Happy Valentine’s Day,’ ” said Carol.


Carol and Chris built and designed the cabins 13 years ago.


“Our slogan is ‘Hidden, but closer.’ We are on a dead-end road, a lot of people don’t realize we are here,” she said.
