lasgow is set to welcome its very own Tatoo event at Te SSE Hydro in January and it will feature some of the finest musicians and dancers


from Scotland, Ulster and across Europe. Te three-hour show will allow the bands


and performers to showcase their talents for the first time on a large scale in an indoor arena and organisers hope fellow Glasgow Chamber members will support the event. Te Band of Her Majesty’s Royal Marines,


were the first headline act to be announced for 2017, and are world-renowned for their musicianship and precision marching performance. Te Massed Pipe Band will feature Lomond


& Clyde Pipe Band, Glasgow City Pipe Band, Te National Youth Pipe Band of Scotland,


Strathendrick Pipe Band, Pride of Ballinran Flute Band, Blackscull Fife and Drum Band, Murley Silver Band, Dungannon Silver Band, Dunloy Accordion Band, Vow Accordion Band, Te Artane Band (Dublin), Lume De Biquera Pipe Band (Madrid), Amigo Leiden Band (Holland) and Fascinating Drums (Germany). In addition, there will be performances from


Te Glasgow Tatoo Highland Dance Troupe, choreographed by David Wilton, and Innova Irish Dance Troupe, who were semi-finalists in Britain’s Got Talent in 2014. It has also been confirmed that the MC


will be TV presenter Helen Mark. Te Glasgow Tatoo will be under the


control of three times World Champion Adult Drum Major, Brian Wilson MBE, Lomond & Clyde Pipe Band, who has held the title twice


previously. He has travelled extensively all over the world to compete in major championships and Tatoos, in countries such as America, South Africa, New Zealand, Belgium, Germany and Australia. He also holds Ulster, All-Ireland, Cowal, European, Scotish, British, American and Australian titles. He currently runs his own school of drumming in Armagh. Te Glasgow Tatoo is presented in
