Established in 1993, the Allied Vehicles Group has grown consistently to become the UK’s leading manufacturer and supplier of adapted and special purpose vehicles. It provides a wide range of specialist products to help older and disabled people. Te company makes a major contribution to the local economy and over the last three years has created more than 200 jobs and now has a total of 560 staff. It is now driving forward with even more ambitious growth plans including entry into entirely new areas, such as expansion into fleet, healthcare and international markets, for specialist vehicles.

Petra is the Founder and Managing Director of WEST Brewery, Bar and Restaurant which is situated overlooking Glasgow Green. Te


Andrew is the author, speaker and Managing Director of SwarmOnline, one of Glasgow’s fastest growing tech companies. He founded the company in 2011 with a sole focus on digital apps. Te strategy has proven successful and as a result he has secured an extensive list of high profile clients including E.ON, ScotishPower and Speirs Gumley. At only 28 years old, Andrew is not only involved in leading the company’s strategy and growing the business, but also represents SwarmOnline globally.


ScotishPower is a global energy company that operates the generation, transmission and distribution of electricity, energy management and supply of gas and electricity in the UK. In 2010 ScotishPower developed and delivered (with partners Glasgow Clyde College) an annual pre-apprenticeship programme for young people in Glasgow who had not met the entry requirement either academically or in social skills to be accepted onto an apprenticeship. Te programme is designed to provide engineering qualifications and is industry led by technical training designed to improve the employability of young people.
