metaphor. Am I right? Yeah. It was definitely meant as a metaphor. You know, we’re all gonna go through some bad times in our lives, and I think at the end of the day, you’ve just got to have faith and remain optimistic. That’s why the chorus re- turns to. “The sun will be coming back/ Don’t you worry about that.” You know, just keep yourself safe and ride the storm out.So yeah, it was definitely a metaphor. It wasnt a mete- orology report. (Laughs) That was just the clothing. The whole idea is to remain opti- mistic. Its a crazy time to be alive, but we have to remain optimistic. And we have to go out and do the right thing. You know.


There are a lot of good songs on the album. One that I really like is “Van- couver.” I think a lot of people will be able to identify with that one, because


we have all been in love and gone through a break up. The whole idea of “if I had a time machine I’d go back and change so many things.” Personally, I know that feeling well.Was that song based on something you actually went through? Yeah. That’s a tune that I don’t plan on play- ing live. It’s just too personal. It is absolutely something I went through. That’s about all I will divulge on that one. The art behind that one is for people to kind of get into the mind set of how relationships go bad, you know? And the lamenting that happens afterward and the rebuilding. I think at the end of the day it really speaks for itself.


Speaking of emotion and things we all go through. “Lost” may be my favorite song on the album. Tell us a little about
