If you have been looking for a new, classy, trendy and exciting eating and drinking experience then you need look no further than artesano in Moraira. Having now celebrated their first year in business, the owners Ismael and Matthew are very proud and humbled to have reached the top spot on TripAdvisor, confirming that the high standard and service delivered is recognised and appreciated by their satisfied and returning customers.
Unique in the area, and quite possibly across the Costa Blanca, artesano is an exciting amalgamation of healthy food, specialty drinks and fine art – the shared passions of the young, welcoming and dedicated owners. Open for delicious breakfasts and lunches and also serving tapas and speciality cocktails in the evenings, this charming café offers really fresh and interesting menu choices, but also a constantly evolving art gallery experience displaying very affordable artworks for sale, created by the many
talented local artists in Marina Alta. It's the perfect place to go if you are having an argument with your friend or partner or have just run out of conversation. Go and soak up the art, and enjoy some quality chat with Matthew and Ismael. As the cooler weather approaches, artesano remains a fantastic place to escape and relax both during the day and in the evening as the comfortable outdoor terrace is both dry and heated and the indoor sofas provide a cosy snug in which to enjoy a warming meal, comfort-food cakes,
coffee which has been dubbed “the best in Moraira”, or a customised cocktail - all the while surrounded by the many beautiful pieces of artwork on show.
Food menu choices include (but not limited to) vegetarian, vegan, gluten free specialties and while all are freshly made and prepared, and most are healthy – there are always a few naughtier treats on offer. Some now legendary indulgences include the “Boozy Blended Coffees” and a personal favourite – the chocolate & peanut butter cream layer cake.
Mark your diaries now for the evening of the 1st December when artesano will be transformed into a stunningly-decorated winter wonderland at the massive Christmas Art Exhibition launch party from 7pm. An open invitation is extended to all for this free gala event featuring live music, free canapés and a full bar service.
