Governed by the VTCT (Vocational Training Charitable Trust) which has been a UK Government-approved award organisation since 1962, the NVQ qualification package certified through KRU combines on-the-job-training with theoretical and further practical training and practice. The course is taken in-house at the KRU salon in Javea, and enables you to work in the hair and beauty industry. This is typically a 2 year course, open equally to men and women, but can be fast tracked to 18 months. Starting from the basics of shampooing, conditioning, reception, health and safety, leading on to styling, cutting and colouring as well as optional added units that can lead you up towards the managerial aspects of hairdressing. The more experienced you become, then the higher level of NVQ Hairdressing can be achieved. Invest in yourself by taking your first step and enrolling with KRU for a new future. You will never be without money working in the hair or beauty industry, which offers a portable and lucrative career.
