The Scottish Pharmacist Awards are designed to recognise the outstanding work performed by individuals and teams across Scotland. The awards ceremony is a great opportunity to highlight what pharmacy can deliver. The sheer dedication of each nominee shortlisted for an award demonstrates the important role community pharmacy plays in the health and wellbeing of local communities across Scotland.
Working in partnership with other healthcare providers, including GPs and secondary health providers to continue to offer innovative public health initiatives provides pharmacy teams to remain the gateway to the health and wellbeing of the patients it serves. It is important that we raise the profi le of what pharmacies can do to widen the understanding of the Scottish public on the range of services available to them at a local level.

The Scottish Pharmacist Awards have evolved over the past seven years into the most important event in the Scottish pharmacy calendar and, for that, we can only say a big ‘thank you’ to all of you, who have contributed to that success.
