Would you like to sing the fabulous music of Andrew Lloyd Webber?
This is the offer made by local maestro Nigel Hopkins as he prepares to start rehearsals with his highly successful choir, Melody Makers International. Singers will perform songs from most Lloyd Webber musicals, including Phantom of the Opera, Jesus Christ Superstar, Cats, Starlight Express, Aspects of Love, Evita, Whistle Down The Wind, Joseph and His Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and more.
Rehearsals take place each Tuesday from 5.30pm - 7.30pm at the Asturias Restaurante at Punta Prima, telephone: 96 677 5976 or 649 570 923 for further details. Conductor Nigel Hopkins - one of the foremost ex-pat voice coaches in Spain - insists that as long as singers can sing a certain range in tune, then they are trainable to join this award- winning choir, made up from singers of several nationalities. All are made very welcome, and can benefit greatly from performing to the highest standard found on the Costa.
