The Rojales Craft Market returns to mornings for the Autumn so if you are looking to while away an hour or so, looking for a small gift, piece of art or decoration, don’t miss the monthly Craft Market at the Cuevas del Rodeo in Rojales. Local artists put their work on display along with other craft works to browse and enjoy. It takes place on the 1st Sunday of every month from 11am to 2pm.
Crevillent has their annual Moors and Christians Fiesta through to 4th October in honour of their patron saint San Francisco de Asís. Friday 23rd September: 21:00 Turning on of the fiesta lights and inaugural speech by the Mayor from the balcony of the town hall. 23:45 Entrance Parade from el Parquet Telmo Vela to the Plaza de la Constitución. Saturday 24th: 19:30 Carnival Humour Parade finishing in Plaza de la Constitución. Sunday 25th: 12:30 Hamburger Fiesta in the Parc Nou Municipal. Friday 30th: 18:30 Entrance Parade for the Children from the Puertas de Orihuela finishing at the Plaza de la Constitución. 20:30 Embassy al Ra´is in the Plaza de la Constitución, the Moors are in the castle and the Christians send their ambassador to ask for a surrender resulting in war.

Looking for a Pre-Christmas bargain then why not visit the The XIII Feria del Comercio y Outlet de Almoradi, in the Plaza de la Constitucion. Clothes, shoes, bags, jewellery, sporting goods, decorations and books are just some of the goods which you’ll be able to browse and buy at sale prices. The discount outlet shopping fair in Almoradi takes place from the 30th September to the 2nd October, with discounts of up to 70% plus some pre-owned cars for sale.
Another fun and unusual event for kids of all ages is the Torrellano Miniature Steam Train. It is run by the friends of the railways association and so is normally only open on Saturdays between 4pm and 8pm with Miniature Train Rides during February and March on the 2nd Sunday from 10.30am to 1.30pm. Every month the Friends of the Railways Association host a miniature train event at the railway museum in Torrellano. Donations of 1.50€ per visit are requested.

Torrevieja Christian Fellowship is a lively English speaking church located at Avenida de las Cortes Valencianas 68,Torrevieja 03183. Residents and holiday makers are welcome to attend our services every Sunday at 10.30am with communion and “kids church”.

Crime Watch Spain (Vecinos Colaborando) Reg. VG – 08261/2002 advise the community citizens about security matters and help them to report any incidents in their communities to the authorities to try to keep out any intruders.
