World’s Biggest Coffee Morning
The World’s Biggest Coffee Morning is Macmillan’s biggest
fundraising event for people facing cancer. This year three great businesses all based in Benijofar are working together for this truly wonderful cause by hosting a coffee morning at their venues in the last week of September.
Hamilton’s Bakehouse host their morning on Wednesday 28th, La Plaza on the square host theirs on Thursday 29th, and The Oasis Bar Bistro also in the square will have theirs on Friday 30th.
Each venue will create special cakes for their day and money raised from the sale of these will go to this cause. Plus, they will also bake a special cake that you can win by purchasing a raffle ticket any time up to the day. Further details can be found at the venues and also via their facebook pages below.
Having a Coffee Morning is the perfect chance to catch up over a cuppa and a slice of something delicious for a great cause. One in three of us will face cancer, and the money raised at these and all the other Coffee Mornings will help Macmillan make sure no one has to face it alone.
