For the pharmacist/team that has the most enterprising venture within any area of pharmacy.
All pharmacies provide excellent service to the people of Northern Ireland. Many go beyond the call of duty by ensuring patients receive the best care, medication and advice by extending normal, everyday care to something more.
This could be in the form of: • An outreach project within the local community. • Educational progression for members of staff.
• Implementing working relationships with other healthcare professionals to benefit certain sectors.
This Award looks to recognise and reward community pharmacists/teams who demonstrate excellence within their pharmacy and local community, and work others to foster a culture of enterprise.

• Exceptional quality above and beyond what is expected. • An ability to overcome challenges in pursuit of goals.

WHO CAN ENTER?
The competition is open to all pharmacists/teams working within community pharmacy in Northern Ireland.

The Pharmacy Business Enterprise Award identifies pharmacists and pharmacy teams throughout Northern Ireland who truly deserve this recognition for their diligence and dedication to healthcare services and entrepreneurial efforts within the industry.

The Pharmacist of the Year Award recognises a community pharmacist who demonstrates leadership and exemplifies the evolution of the pharmacy profession toward an expanded role in healthcare.
The winner will demonstrate significant contributions to the pharmacy industry overall resulting in meaningful improvements in the quality of patient care, in delivery models and in pharmacy’s role in the healthcare team.
WHO CAN ENTER?
• This category is open to all contractor or employee pharmacists working in either independent or chain pharmacies.
• Previous Pharmacist of the Year entrants, including winners, are also welcome to submit an entry.
• All entries will be judged by an independent panel of experts. GENERAL AWARDS CRITERIA
