EVENT PARTNERS
ALLIANCE HEALTHCARE UK IS PROUD TO BE THE EVENT PARTNER AT THIS YEAR’S PHARMACY IN FOCUS AWARDS.
The Pharmacy in Focus Awards celebrate pharmacists and teams for their tremendous work over the last year and identifies exceptional work developed within pharmacies in Northern Ireland.
With over 70 years of experience, Alliance Healthcare has recently started providing services to the Northern Ireland market, with the opening of its Belfast Service Centre. Alliance Healthcare is committed to supporting community pharmacists through a number of services to help meet their needs, and work together on one cause – putting the patient needs first.
Many pharmacists in Northern Ireland go the extra mile by ensuring patients receive the best care, medication and advice by extending normal, everyday care to something more. Alliance Healthcare recognises that for many people, pharmacy remains the primary point of contact for health and wellbeing services. We work with pharmacists day in and day out to
provide innovative healthcare initiatives, and are delighted to be the Event Partner for these inspirational awards.
The nominees for each award have all demonstrated and emphasised the important role community pharmacy plays in the health and wellbeing of local communities across Northern Ireland.
We would like to congratulate all the nominees who have been shortlisted for this year’s Pharmacy in Focus awards, identifying pharmacists and pharmacy teams throughout Northern Ireland who truly deserve this recognition for their diligence and dedication to healthcare services and the pharmaceutical industry.

NUMARK ARE YET AGAIN DELIGHTED TO BE AN EVENT PARTNER OF THE UCA PRESIDENT’S BALL AND PHARMACY IN FOCUS AWARDS.
It is a great pleasure to be part of an evening that celebrates the exceptional standards of care that pharmacies in Northern Ireland deliver to their communities.
Numark fully recognises that now, more than ever, community pharmacy needs even greater support. This may be through an efficient supply chain, delivering services, back office support or upskilling the pharmacy team. We deliver this support to our NI members through our Pharmacy Development Managers, John Murphy and Maud Orr, through our website
www.numarknet.com and through our wholesale division in Phoenix.
Our members benefit from our market leading initiatives including our partnership with EMIS Health through Numark Assist PMR and with PharmAssist, the IT integrated buying solution. With the continued complexity of distribution deals, PI availability and generics sourcing, we offer a fully integrated
PMR solution tailored to your buying and freeing up time.
We are delighted at the uptake of pharmacists trained to administer flu vaccinations with our support. NI pharmacists trained to administer vaccinations are ensuring they are best placed to provide this service should it be offered in a NI contract in the future.
We continue to fully support the UCA and have entered into a partnership with them to offer first aid training. We have also set up a facility for you to process your UCA membership fee through Numark.
We look forward to supporting you even further over the coming years.

SANGERS AND AAH TAKE GREAT PLEASURE IN CONTINUING OUR SPONSORSHIP OF THE PHARMACY IN FOCUS AWARDS.
The awards have been designed to recognise and reward pharmacists and their teams for the innovative work they have been performing over the last year, and identify the outstanding work developed within pharmacies in Ireland, with the patient at the heart of what they do.
Sangers and AAH are committed to supporting community pharmacists throughout Northern Ireland by developing and tailoring their services to help meet their needs.
The new Careway partnership programme from Sangers and AAH offers great support for professional healthcare services and retail initiatives, and, as Northern Ireland prepares to develop and evolve its pharmaceutical offerings, so do we.
For many patients pharmacy remains the entryway for accessing health and wellbeing services, and by continuing to provide innovative public health initiatives in partnership with other healthcare providers, including GPs and secondary
healthcare providers, and tailoring services to the care needs of the local community, pharmacy can play a key role in building a healthier environment.
The awards ceremony is an opportunity to celebrate these services and highlight what pharmacy can deliver.
The nominees of each award will all have demonstrated and emphasised the important role pharmacy plays in local communities across Northern Ireland.
We would like to congratulate all of those shortlisted at this year’s Pharmacy in Focus awards, identifying pharmacists and pharmacy teams throughout Northern Ireland who truly deserve this recognition for their hard work and pioneering efforts within the industry.
