New steel Yankee for Essel Kagit in Turkey

urkish tissue manufacturer Essel Selüloz ve Kâğıt Sanayi has a signed a deal with
A.Celli Paper for the rebuilding of one of its machines at its Çaycuma mill.
The rebuild involves the
installation of a 12-foot steel Yankee and a new headbox with a view to growing Essel Kagit’s business at the site, which currently produces almost 30,000 tonnes of paper products each year, along with
higher quality and efficiency. Essel Kagit (Essel Cellulose and Paper Industry Trade ) has already used A.Celli Paper for the installation of two facilities, the first in 2005. More than 600 types of paper destined for the Turkish
Progress made towards opening of Klabin’s pulp mill in Brazil
Two pulp drying lines supplied by Valmet have been started up at Klabin’s new mill in Brazil. The mill at Ortigueira in Paraná
state will have capacity to produce 1.5 million tons of pulp per year, with 1.1 million tons of bleached hardwood pulp (BEK) made of eucalyptus and 400,000 tons of bleached softwood pulp

growth was influenced by its positive experience with Futura technology already installed within

Piero Ceccon said: “It has been a very positive experience working with Vinda and we are delighted that our partnership is entering a
new phase of intensity. The tissue market in China is evolving strongly and all of us at Futura are highly motivated to be redrawing the boundaries together with such an important player in this market.” The first complete lines ordered are scheduled to start up in 2017.
