Bearsted & Thurnham Carnival & Fayre 2016
The 17th Tonbridge Scout and Guide Marching Band will provide the music, along with the Maidstone Majorettes.
The Downs Mail will again sponsor the carnival princess award and there will be a children’s fancy dress competition and a prize for the best dressed stall.
The occasion boasts numerous stalls and sideshows as well as games, raffles and tombolas. Directions Performing Arts will give a display in keeping with the Roald Dahl theme and Robin’s Jazz Quartet will be playing by the tea tent.
By buying a programme, you could win £100 by entering the golden ticket inside into the free draw on fayre day.

Procession route
The parade leaves Madginford Community Hall at 12.15pm and then travels via Egremont Road, Madgibnford Road, Royston Road, Rosemary Road, Ashford Road, The Landway, Hog Hill and The Street, arriving at the Green at 1.15pm. Please keep the procession route clear during the parade.
