In contrast to additive colourants like carmine, their production involves only processing with water and gentle physical methods such as pressing, chopping and filtering. The concentrates can be applied to nearly every product and are used for beverages, confectionery, dairy, ice cream, food supplements and fruit preparations. They are suitable for all dietary requirements.

l Local Farm Shop Uncle Henry’s has been shortlisted in the Farm Shop and Deli Awards Small Retailer of the Year


category. The Awards recognise excellence within the specialist retail market, focusing on independent speciality retailers who sell regional fresh/farm produce or have a delicatessen counter offering twelve categories to enter under and win including Farm Shop of the Year. The Awards recognise


the very best standards in specialist retail and celebrate the highest levels of service, product knowledge, initiative, innovation and community involvement. The aim is to highlight highly driven and passionate local businesses like Uncle Henry’s. Uncle Henry’s are the only local business to be shortlisted in the awards.


Winning this Award would help build them as a destination, putting them on the map both regionally and nationally and in turn, bringing interest to the


local area. Emma Ward, General Manager at local Farm Shop Uncle Henry’s said “Here at Uncle Henry’s we are passionate about great tasting home-grown and local food.
