SAMWAYS FINE FOOD TO DISTRIBUTE ICELANDIC NORDUR SALT

l Samways Fine Food Distribution are excited to announce that they have teamed up with Arctic sea salt sensation Nordur Salt to provide this wonderful, sustainable product throughout the UK. Nordur & Co is located on Karlsey Island in the beautiful Breidafjordur Bay, North West Iceland. Nordur Salt is made using a

traditional Icelandic/Danish method which dates back centuries. Using a sustainable geothermal production method they pump Arctic Sea water into open pans, where it

is slowly heated with water from natural hot springs, leaving behind fresh crunchy sea salt flakes and no carbon dioxide. Nordur ensure that their production facility is as environmentally friendly as possible and geothermal energy is used at all stages of their salt-making. To quote Nordur Salt themselves

“We don’t believe in the convention that high-quality, environmentally friendly products have to be high priced. We believe in affordable quality” and here at Samways we couldn’t agree more! Ian Samways says “it is a fantastic product, in beautiful inventive packaging and made sustainably too – what’s there not to like?!”

In stunning blue and orange

branding, the boxes are very nifty, made with no glue; just some fancy folding! Nordur Salt Arctic sea salt flakes are available to order now from Samways Fine Food Distribution.
