The Neatest Twin-View Camera System

Twin-view cameras are the most popular type amongst motorhomers in particular. It’s really useful to be able to see down to the back of the vehicle when reversing and also have the ability to see what’s behind when driving in a forward gear - it’s just like having a rear-view mirror.

To achieve those twin views required either a camera with two lenses or one with a motorised lens. These were often either big and clunky-looking or else, very expensive.

Now Camos - one of the leading rear-view camera system manufacturers in the world, have an alternative: the Jewel. This new camera system uses sophisticated, digital electronics to switch views on the monitor. This unique technology lets you look back down the road with a 130° angle of view. Then, when you select reverse gear, the camera switches to a 160° viewing angle to show what’s directly behind the vehicle.

The Jewel system comes with dash-mounted model - available in a range of sizes - or one that clips onto an existing rear-view mirror.

“One-View” rear-view camera systems

If you want a rear-view camera system that’s only used when the vehicle is reversing, this camera from Camos will fit the bill. The CM-200 One-View camera is just as compact as the Jewel but has the additional features of infra-red LEDs and a microphone. The housing is stainless steel so doesn’t suffer from the corrosion that commonly affects some rear-view cameras and it can be used with any Camos monitor.

You can specify a Camos camera system when you order a motorhome from your dealer.
