230V in your Vehicle without Mains Hook-up

230V Appliance from a 12V or 24V Battery. any

Our Range of High-Quality Inverters Enables You to Operate Almost

We stock 3 kinds of inverter and, whatever the mains appliance you want to run, we’ve almost certainly got something suitable in the range. Modified sine wave models are cheapest and, for many applications, will be just fine. For certain equipment, including electric toothbrushes(!), only a pure sine wave unit will do.

If you want to be certain that your electrical

appliances run as smoothly and reliably in your vehicle or boat as they do at home or work, a pure

Modified sine wave inverters

Our range of modified sine wave inverters runs from 100 watt models for powering phone chargers and the like up to 5,000 watt units which can be used to operate just about any piece of household equipment you can think of.

There are exceptions, including any appliance which is thyristor controlled such as bread makers and washing machines. Microwave ovens and power tools can be powered by a modified sine wave inverter but may run roughly. If used over a long period of time, the equipment may be damaged.

A remote control is optional with certain models.

If you want to be absolutely certain that all your 230V appliances will operate in exactly the same way in your vehicle or boat as they do at home or at work, you need to have one of our pure sine wave inverters. The electricity they produce is identical to that which comes out of a wall socket.

Pure sine wave inverters

We stock several models in 12V and 24V and with outputs between 200 - 3,500W. There are also versions with a built-in RCD (residual current device). Higher output models are available to special order.

A remote control is optional with most models. “Combi” inverter / chargers

What a great idea this is! When your boat or vehicle is connected to mains hook-up (shore power if you prefer), the “Combi” will charge up your leisure batteries and make sure they’re ready the next time you go on a trip.

When you do, the system automatically changes over and, instead of charging them, takes power from the batteries and converts it to 230V so that you can run your mains appliances.

Both pure sine and modified sine wave versions are available and the “Combi” comes in 12V and 24V and with power ratings between 1,600W - 2,500W. A remote control is included with all models.
