Maually Operated Satellite TV Systems

Our Best-selling Manual Satellite System is Also the Easiest to Use.

Our best selling portable satellite dish, the Multimo's compact size and ease of use make it an ideal model for mobile use. Although it only measures 40cm in diameter, the dish has the performance of a 55cm unit and can be used over the whole of Europe although the channels you receive will vary according to your location.

It comes with 10M co-ax cable and full instructions.

The dish itself doesn’t need a tripod: it slots into a base unit and can then be placed on a table or any level surface - even the ground - or clamped to a shelf or step.

The Multimo comes in two versions: single and twin LNB and there’s a range of useful accessories - see below.

Not only is the Multimo easy to set up and use, packing it away and stowing it until next time takes only a couple of minutes. It’s even easier if you have one of our purpose-made carrying bags which the Multimo fits into perfectly, along with all the cables, a sat-finder and, if you need one, a receiver. £ 5.99*2 Roof-mounted with Manual Operation

The Crank-up PLUS satellite system from CAMOS uses a planar antenna to catch a satellite’s beam instead of a conventional dish. Although more expensive, this is a very efficient method and enables the “dish” to be much smaller, taking up less room on a vehicle’s (or boat’s) roof and making it easier both to install and use. The antenna is similar in performance to a 65cm standard dish.

The dish of the Crank-up PLUS can be adjusted - “skewed”. This significantly increases the unit’s ability to receive signals near the edge of a satellite’s footprint. Skewing is a manual operation: simple as long as access to the dish is available.

Other advantages of this system are:

> Low height when parked - 12cms. > Excellent resistance to wind so that the dish can be kept

up when models with conventional dishes have to be parked.

> Compact size means that this model can be installed when roof space is restricted.

> Light weight (5.3 / 6.5 Kgs) makes this an ideal system where weight is important.

> Smaller dish size makes it easier to find the satellite. We recommend the use of a good satfinder (see our website) which will help you find the satellite within just a minute or two. Practise makes perfect!
