The Comforts of Home on 12V / 24V
Just because you’re on the road or on the water, it doesn’t mean you can’t brew a cup of tea, dry your hair, have a quick clean-up or even heat up some food in a microwave! Be aware however that 12V or 24V appliances simply can’t cook or heat as quickly as 230V models. A 12V kettle will take around 10-15 minutes to boil a mug of water but the time will vary greatly according to the power getting into the kettle. Whether the engine is running or not can make a big difference as can the quality of the wiring taking the current from the battery to the 12V / 24V socket that you’re using.
Keep Warm
Our range of heaters will help to take the chill off when the temperature drops. Don’t expect them to warm up your cab or your cabin but use them to help defrost windows, warm your hands and feet and generally make things warmer than they were.
