Battery Charging on the Move
Intelligent Battery Charging While You Drive. “Intelligent” battery chargers are great when you
have access to mains hook-up but how do you keep your batteries properly charged when on the move?
Most motorhomes, boats and other vehicle with living accommodation use a simple split-charge relay or something similar. But, these operate just like an old-fashioned battery charger, measuring
The answer: install a battery-to-battery charger, a remarkable device which - when the vehicle’s
engine is running - constantly monitors both starter and auxiliary batteries.
It then takes spare energy (supplied by the alternator) from the starter battery and uses it to charge the auxiliary battery or batteries in the same
voltage alone and with no reference to what the way that a 230V “intelligent” charger would. This not leisure batteries actually need to perform at their best.
only ensures that batteries are as fully charged as possible but also prolongs their working life.
We have a choice of models to enable you to get exactly the right one for your vehicle or boat.
CTEK D250S “DUAL”
CTEK’s “DUAL” simply connects to the vehicle’s starter battery and, if there is one, a solar panel up to 340 Watts. The charging output is up to 20A per hour and the unit can be used with all types of lead- acid battery with capacities from 40Ah - 300Ah.
Because the “Dual” uses the same kind of charging regime as 230V CTEK chargers, you can be sure that your batteries will be well looked after and provide you with reliable 12V energy.
Sterling Power DC-DC chargers

Outputs range from 16 Amps to 100 Amps and we can help you decide which one is best for your requirements.
