New look, new logo QE is chosen charity T
Future Faces, now in its fifth year, is celebrating a new look, a new logo – and a new name. From now on it will be known as Future Faces Chamber of Commerce, a move which reflects continued growth of the membership organisation. “While we have always been an organisation
with our own unique identity, the new logo really helps to emphasise our close association with the Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce,” said Future Faces president Adam Maguire. ” He added: “This is a very exciting time for
Future Faces and better integration with GBCC will allow us to continue to support and grow the region’s developing talent even further. Currently we are organising our second annual dinner and awards following the amazing success of last year’s event, which was attended by 250 guests.” The awards, launched at a reception at the
Laurent Perrier Champagne Bar in The Cube, take place at Edgbaston Stadium on 16 September.

he Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham Charity is this year to benefit from the fund-raising activities of Future Faces, the
Chamber movement developing the next generation of business talent. The charity exists to support patients at the
city’s QE Hospital, including military patients and children, teenagers and adults with cancer. It provides items over and above what the NHS can fund, such as equipment, research and “added extras” that make a patient’s stay in hospital more comfortable for them and their family. During the coming months, members of
Future Faces will organise a series of activities in aid of the charity. Key fundraising events will include the annual dinner and awards on 16 September and the President’s Quiz in November. Justine Davy, QEHBC head of fundraising,
said: “We are delighted to be supporting the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham Charity this year in their vital and important fundraising efforts. Last year, we raised around £3,000 for our chosen charity and we continue to aim high, hoping to raise even more money this year which can go to help saving lives.”
Early bird tickets available
Preparations are in hand for the second annual Future Faces dinner and awards – with high hopes that it will be an ever bigger and better event than last year’s inaugural function. The event will take place at Edgbaston Stadium on 16 September and an
“early bird” ticket offer will run on the Chamber’s new website from 4 April, from where bookings may be made. There will be five categories of awards – featuring the Future Face of
Entrepreneurship; Communications; Professional Services; Industry and Innovation. And 2016 will also see the introduction of a Future Faces Ambassador Award. The overall winner will be chosen from the five category winners.
