A Day in
WHAT IS A TYPICAL DAY AT THE LIME TREE DELICATESSEN LIKE
FOR YOU? ● Our day is always varied which adds to the enjoyment of the job. We normally arrive early to set up, and make the Cakes and Bakes and the daily specials to go onto the menu. Some days we will be roasting locally produced beef and pork for our sandwiches. We will normally have deliveries throughout the day, which we have to check the temperature of and log the sell by dates, and then store correctly. By then we will now be serving the customers, who may be buying or sampling `cheeses, purchasing Artisan jams or chutneys or some of the other �ine products from the shelves. There is also always coffees to be made and cakes, sandwiches etc. to be served to the customers who enjoy sitting and relaxing and watching the hustle and bustle of the busy coastal town.
DESCRIBE THE FAVOURITE PART OF YOUR
WORKING DAY. ● This has got to be the meeting and serving of the many different customers that you see in a day. I also love sourcing the best new products, especially the many wonderful local products that we have available to us in the South West. I love it when new stock arrives, for me it is like Christmas every day!

WHAT WOULD YOU SAY WAS THE BIGGEST CHORE?
● Hygiene is obviously most important, but the worse thing for me is cleaning the meat-slicing machine at the end of the day. I also do not really enjoy all the paperwork that goes with the job.
WHAT IS YOUR NUMBER ONE
PRIORITY DURING THE DAY? ● The customer, we always make them welcome, with a smile and a chat, hopefully we can provide them with what they were looking

TO SPEND YOUR FREE TIME? ● When I have any free time, my
favourite things to do are going to watch a movie with my family, or to sit in my summerhouse and soak up any sun that is available, and read a good book. ●
