story compares starkly with the harsh recession of the early 1990s which saw family firm boss Sabir Hussain switch the business to Leipzig in the former East Germany after rising UK interest rates led to a dramatic slump in trade. The fall of the Berlin Wall eventually led to trade


shrinking in Germany – and Sabir decided to concentrate on rebuilding his business back in
