forward-thinking bank Birmingham-based Al Rayan Bank has appointed Ros King (pictured) as head of HR. She had previously held HR roles at Santander and Arval, a BNP Paribas’ company. Her last role was as HR consultant for
recruitment firm ‘The People Link’. She said: “This is an ethical bank which genuinely offers something different, not only to its customers, but also to its employees, and you can feel that through every layer of the organisation. “The bank truly values its employees, a fact illustrated by its recent accreditation by ‘Investors in People’ and status as a ‘Living Wage’ employer. In an
organisation that is developing so rapidly there is always lots to do. My immediate priorities are to grow and develop the already talented, innovative and diverse workforce and ensure we have right structures in place to allow the Bank to maintain its strong growth and expansion moving forward.” Al Rayan CEO Sultan Choudhury said: “Ros
has a proven track record in leading the human resource development of financial services companies, this together with her expertise in supporting businesses through periods of growth make her an excellent addition to the Bank. I welcome Ros to the team and look forward to working with her as we continue to develop Al Rayan Bank.”
