DYLAN JACKSON

Here at Pearl White Dental Laboratory, Joe Jackson has been letting his son Dylan loose in the world of CAD/ CAM and, for the past six years, he has greatly broadened his knowledge in this area.

Tis has turned out to be a great decision as Dylan has found his vocation in the digital world and taken this area by storm.

Dylan has made frequent visits across Europe and America and this has brought Pearl White into the 21st Century in the field of dental digital technology. As a result the laboratory has been chosen to do the beta testing for the Atlantis abutments for Dentsply on the Trios system. Tis is one of the first labs to carry out this procedure.

Tis corner of the laboratory complements the expertise we continue to maintain in the rest of the lab and our aim is to consistently provide the dental practitioner and patient with the finest prosthetics and aesthetics available on the dental market today.

SAMUEL BARRY LEMON

BDS GDC: 147909

It has been a wonderfully busy year for Samuel Barry Lemon. In July 2014, he took over Bluewater Dental in Lochwinnoch and in January he and partner, Francesca, welcomed daughter Saskia into the world. Barry was then named Dentist of the Year at the 2015 Scottish Dental Awards in May.

Barry graduated from Dundee University in 2008 and spent the following four years at Kirriemuir Dental Practice. It was during this time that his natural approach to treating nervous patients and children shone through. Most recently, Barry practiced closer to his home town in Bangor at Clandeboye Dental Practice where his ability to rebuild confidence in patients while delivering an extremely high standard of dental care was continued.

Barry says that working in a small community is highly rewarding: “Te people of Lochwinnoch have been very warm and welcoming and we have really enjoyed integrating into such a friendly and supportive community. We have loved meeting our patients both in and out of the surgery, from the dentist’s chair, to school talks and even while carving pumpkins at Halloween!

“Personally I am also developing professionally by becoming a vocational trainer to our new recruit.”
