Supporting your local Hospice
Heart of Kent Hospice provides expert care for people living with the challenge of a life limiting illness. Our specialist teams care for nearly 1,000 patients and their families a year in their own homes or in the Hospice, improving their quality of life and helping to make every day precious.
The care we provide is local, free and offered to those who need it, but with running costs of over £4m a year we rely heavily on the generosity of our local community for its support.
There are lots of ways you can support Heart of Kent Hospice from joining our weekly Lottery, making a donation, fundraising or taking part in one of our events listed below. You can find out more on our website at

Moonlit Walk 2015 – A Walk to Remember Saturday 19 September, 9pm Preston Hall, the approach to Heart of Kent Hospice
The Moonlit Walk is back with a new improved route. Get together with friends, family and colleagues and sign up for this sponsored circular 12km hike under the moonlight in memory of someone close to you.
Rainbow 5k Fun Run
Sunday 27 September, 9am This great family event promises to be lots of fun and laughter once the paint starts flying. You’ll be showered with
brightly coloured powdered paints as you make your way round the 5k course, until you cross the finish line a rainbow of colour. Don’t miss this chance to go crazy, get messy and have a great time, all for a worthy cause.
Heart of Flavour Café Bar
A bright, airy café cum deli situated in King Street, Maidstone offering a range of delicious dishes, using fresh, locally sourced and seasonal ingredients. Open 8am-8pm. All proceeds go to Heart of Kent Hospice.
