After session 1, 11/14 teachers had used techniques from the CPD to promote literacy with their learners. From 11 replies to session 2 of the bespoke CPD, 5 teachers had tried approaches used in the session and one had proposed forming a resource creation group with colleagues. Many said the session had been too short, some were still not sure when they would have time to use new ideas and some wished they had had the training earlier in the year.
