• Dunblane Cathedral Handbell Ringers, Cathedral Halls. Beginner adults from 6.30- 7.30pm. Those of High School age, 5.30-6.30pm. Children in Primary 5-7 from 6.30- 7.30pm. • Wednesday 1st April Dunblane Civic Society’s Spring Walk/Lunch Members to be at the Walled Garden Cafe Car Park on the edge of Devilla Forest near Kincardine at 09:45. The 5 mile walk is on mostly flat/muddy ground but boots are advised. Could members who are coming for lunch only please be at the Walled Garden Cafe for 12:45/1:00. Anyone requiring transport or directions contact Donald or Caroline 823599.

Saturday 5th April, Art’n’Mart Community Market, Victoria Halls. This month, the market will be supporting the Dunblane Community Pre School. Entry is free but we would ask people to make a donation to the charity as they enter the venue instead. (see page 10)
• Wednesday 8th April, Dunblane and District Gardening Club at 2.00pm in the Cathedral Halls. The speaker will be Stephen Baker and he will be speaking about the Hosta and Hemerocallis Society. Visitors are most welcome to come along to the meeting at a cost of £1.50.

Saturday 11th April, Spring Vintage Fair. Bridge of Allan Parish Hall 11-4pm supporting Strathcarron Hospice. See page 17 for details.
• Sunday 12th April, Forth Valley Friends of Scottish Opera. AGM followed by Anthony Phillips on ‘Please Find Music Attached’ This is our final meeting in the current season and will start with the AGM, which we hope will be short. Then we hear from Anthony Phillips, who was the first Director of the Macrobert Centre and subsequently Manager of the Royal Festival Hall in London. His talk has the intriguing title ‘Please Find Music Attached’. All very welcome. 2.30 pm, Smith Art Gallery and Museum, Stirling. Members £5, Visitors £6, Students £1, including tea/coffee and biscuits.
• Monday 13th April, Dunblane Arthritis Care meeting Victoria Hall 1.30 - 3.30pm when we will have talk about N.H.S. ‘Living it Up’ with Tracey. Everyone welcome with branch information from Pat Anderson 01786 822505
