Te tale, rife with secret societies and hidden clues, would be almost impossible to believe if it was not there for all to see and experience. Te British architect and genius, Frank W. Simon, designed the Manitoba Legislative Building to make the people who entered it more moral, more intelli- gent and ultimately better people. How? By using sacred ge- ometry. Freemasonry considered geometry to be an exclusive and sacred science handed down by God himself to be used as a physical enactment of divine will. A story filled with goddesses and other apotropaic icons, religious imagery, hidden hieroglyphics, and the secret world of Freemasonry and Rosicrucianism begins to unfold. Simon was the Grand Architect of Scottish Freemasonry and was deeply inter- ested in Hermetic philosophy and the principal of sacred architecture. His design was selected from 66 other notable architects by a committee who all happened to be members of a Masonic Lodge. In fact, did you know that all of Mani- toba’s premiers from 1872 until 1981 were Freemasons? So who is the Golden Boy? Was he a gift from France as

we were led to believe? If you had asked the sculptor and architect who designed him, they would have had no idea to who or what you were referring. Tat boy, covered in gold, is really a disguised effigy in honour of Hermes, the winged messenger from Greek mythology and the father of every- thing to do with secret wisdom, magic and the arcane. Te building was built in his honour and it’s a cleverly designed reconstruction of the King Solomon’s Temple with the Ark of the Covenant hidden on its roof! Dr. Frank Albo is a gregarious man. His passion for shar- ing his knowledge of the Manitoba Legislative Building is obvious to anyone who hears him speak about it during his Hermetic Code tours. Te premise may be hard to believe, but Frank will endeavour to prove it to you, letting you make the discoveries on your own. After your tour with the good doctor, your reality will be altered and you will never look at architecture in quite the same way again. I encourage every- one to take the tour; you won’t be disappointed as you delve into a true Manitoba mystery. Hermetic Code Tours of the Manitoba Legislative Build-

ing can be booked online at heartlandtravel.ca or by calling 204.989.9630.
