Norwich Fashion Week returns this month for its fifth year, showcasing our best loved boutiques and high street stores at mega glam fashion shows accompanied by live music. Te ever popular vintage night takes place at the Puppet Teatre and this year the theme is Vintage Goes East, or if you want to see what Norwich’s own designers, tailors and milliners can do, head to the Designers Show at Epic. Apart from these and several other shows, the whole city will be getting on trend, with with pop up beauty schools and cocktail bars, live tattooing and special talks and deals. Chuck those socks and sandals out and get chic for summer, gang.

05 March Norfolk & Norwich Festival 2015 Tickets go on sale


Norfolk & Norwich Festival is back for 2015, and tickets go on sale March 5th. Te city will be immersed in some of the world’s best music, theatre, circus, literature, dance, kids shows and free outdoor performances come May. Head out to Felbrigg Hall to see what lurks in the dark woods with Wolf’s Child. Be amazed by circus company Circa, who’ll be bringing a new show to the Spiegeltent. Check out 451, a huge, free, firey 360° outdoor event based on the novel Fahrenheit 451, or the full weekend of free family fun in Chapelfield Gardens. Acts announced thus far include noiseniks Te Neutrinos with BK and Dad, Tracey Torne from Everything But Te Girl, jazz group Polar Bear and controversial US artist Jeff Koons as well as Pussy Riot activist Masha Gessen. Jeez Louise. Pop the dates in your diary now, 8th-24th May, and keep up to date on their website.

07 March Sonic Youths Norwich Arts Centre


Sonic Youths is a specialist Saturday lunchtime showcase that shares the talents of young musicians aged 14-19 in NAC’s café bar. Having run two successful pilot events last year they’ll be holding a quarterly residency in 2015. Laura Goldthorp, Connor Mullally, Murran O’Donoughoe and Midnight Zoo are the stars this time around. Te fun starts at 1pm in the café bar, and costs nought pounds to get in.
