2015 Remodelers Council President

TOM PELLEGRIN Third Coast Builders

The Council is off to a great start this year, after holding

a February. successful Speed Selling event NEXT MEETING: in Twenty associate members enjoyed

dedicated one-on-one time with our remodeler members. And in turn, the remodelers had a chance to see the latest in products and services. Thank you to everyone who participated!

In March, join us for an in-depth discussion about the TAB Remodeling Contract Package featuring three attorneys. Last fall several remodelers met with James Rudnicki, of Bush Rudnicki Shelton PC, about a short version of the remodeling contract. We’re happy to announce that the new shortened contract will be available after the March luncheon.

Charity and giving back to the community is such an important part of the Remodelers Council culture. We will be beginning work on this year’s charity project at Family Time Crisis & Counseling Center in April. Visit www.ghba.org to volunteer for the Council Work Day on Saturday, April 25!

Family Time’s mission is to provide an outreach program and accessible services to families and individuals in crisis through counseling, crisis intervention, information and referral, and shelter. Family Time provides:

„ Free counseling and support groups for victims of abuse

„ A 24-hour crisis helpline

„ “The Door,” an emergency shelter for domestic violence victims and their children

„ Hospital accompaniment for victims of abuse including domestic violence and sexual assault victims by trained advocates

„ Trained staff to provide legal advocacy about issues stemming from abuse

„ Professional counseling at affordable rates for non-victim issues

„ Parenting education and anger management classes

„ Most services also available in Spanish
