ARTS & CRAFTS - YOUTH Art Explorations
Combine fun drawing exercises with creative painting projects to build the skills of your young artist. Elements of art will be introduced through a variety of media such as acrylics on canvas, pastels, charcoal, watercolors, and more. Emphasis is placed on techniques as students explore the work of famous artists. All materials and aprons are provided. A $20 material fee is payable to the instructor at the first class. Learn the fundamentals of brush painting, as it is specifically applied to watercolors. This class explores various techniques that will improve your painting skills and provide inspiring tools for exploring art adventures. Clay Adventures
Have a blast learning how to turn clay into wonderful creatures and other fun projects. We will hand build the pieces as we learn techniques such as coiling, scoring, slab construction and more. We will decorate the pieces with under glazes (special paint for wet clay). Different projects each day. All pieces will be glazed and fired. Aprons will be provided. Anaheim Family YMCA Little Stars Gymnastics
Expand your child’s choices by enrolling him or her in preschool gymnastics. Gymnastics will enhance your child’s self-discipline, basic skill development and build self-esteem in a fun and safe atmosphere.
