library.anaheim.net Get Growing this Spring with ‘Seeds to Share’
Stop by the East Anaheim Branch Library and check out the “Seeds to Share” seed library. The public may take home selected packets of easy-to-grow vegetables (artichokes, beans, peas, peppers, tomatoes) or sunflowers free of charge. Gardening together is a great family activity that will provide healthy nourishment from locally-grown foods. Planting guidelines are provided, and the library has many books on gardening. This program is free of charge, and while a library card isn’t required to participate, we hope that participants will obtain one in order to also borrow the many educational and entertainment resources available at Anaheim Public Libraries.
